Firepit Henry V (Prop Thtr)

Hey all! The next project coming up for me will be a reading of my new play, Firepit Henry V, in February. I'll be self-producing and directing the reading as well, as the fantastic team of actors and I work to iron out the kinks of the script and put it up before a live audience!

A brief synopsis:

"A group of soldiers sit around a firepit in the woods during the last hours of a ceasefire. When one suggests that they read Shakespeare's history play to boost morale, the resulting reading opens up sensitive questions about the glory of war, and the importance of the individual soldier."

The reading will be February 20th, at the Prop Thtr in Chicago. Show begins at 8pm, and is entirely free to attend. Facebook event is HERE.
