Bicycle Thieves (Littlebrain Theatre)

A late entry to the website to announce that I am currently directing a new devised play, BICYCLE THIEVES, as part of Rhinofest 2019! Performances are Fridays at 7pm for six weeks, from Jan. 18 through Feb. 22.

This is a project I’ve wanted to get off the ground for some time now, and my astounding producer Clare Brennan and fantastic team of artistic collaborators are helping it to happen. This classic story, about a man and his child searching for a lost bicycle in the streets of Rome, digs into complex issues regarding how class and power impact our sense of empathy – a message that always deserves to be repeated.
